The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 明明四个故事完全不一样，搞成拼盘是不太好，希望下次别硬凑“四史”脉络。最喜欢第二段航天人的故事，万万没想到，无论是导还是演，会被章子怡折服。 “父辈”显然割裂了性别，忽视了半边天，所以冲着这一点，子怡的重要性尤其凸显，足以镜象对照徐峥和沈腾两部。四个故事泪点都足够，但是，我只给三星是因为依然很儒家思想，也要给不那么喜欢打“伐木累”模式的人以自由呼吸的空间。（上个月看的，发现评错电影了……）
导演水平高下立见。徐峥跟吴京的最好！徐峥/吴京 > 沈腾。章子怡的那个，平铺直叙且脱离现实。一家的爸爸去世了，凭什么领导要不让其他几家爸爸回家？还有，作为一个有打过孩子的亲身经验的人，不到万不得已是不会打孩子的，也就不可能在刚打完就问“还疼吗？”，问不出来！
吴京真的是一个特别好的战争片导演，运镜，氛围感都拿捏熟练，杀死日本鬼子指挥官时由上往下的视角犹如新中国藐视着日本帝国主义的侵略，不可侵犯。最后的人马合一的马儿扬蹄镜头更给了人振奋向前，展望新中国的无限可能
这小孩子看着怎么那么脸熟呢，原来是《雪中悍刀行》的赵宣素。韩昊霖，未来估计比张一山有更大发展空间。
最后两个故事不错。沈腾徐峥导演功力不错！章子怡那段一看就知道是女性导演拍的，煽情得不要不要的！第一段故事存在感低了点，因为感觉又是抗日战争版的战狼！
《乘风》、《诗》、《鸭先知》、《少年行》
我和我的系列第三部，前面的是祖国和家乡，这次是父辈，从大到小，从浴血奋战到和平年代，这个系列应该也是终结篇了。评分不高，水平参差不齐，这部也是四个故事，最好的应该是章子怡的诗，航天人的浪漫以及其中的艰难与奋斗。然后是吴京的乘风，我觉得这个故事可以拍一部长篇，还有很多东西可以讲的。徐峥的故事我觉得一般，可能是我没有经历过那个变革中的时代吧。沈腾的故事放在结尾正好，毕竟我们已经是在先辈用牺牲换来的和平年代里了，可惜煽情有点过猛，不像开心麻花。
《诗》惊艳到我了，片尾曲不听的话绝对是损失
徐峥这一段的调调我很喜欢 但确实还是章子怡的更有电影感
不太懂这片子哪里不够好，7分都不到。于我来说，只有吴京导演的部分由于拖沓了一点，可以扣0.5分。其他三位导演的作品还不够惊喜？《我和我的...》系列本来就是命题电影，就是以展现国家繁荣富强、人民生活越来越好为主。所以不必抱着过高的期待和批判来看，可能反而会觉得很不错。
四个故事都很好看。《诗》最美。《追风》也很棒。『Double.2Jul.2022』@CCTV6
