The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 故事平淡欲睡，但夹杂的念白和采访还是拥有聆听的价值。2021年的最后一部电影，希望我的收音话筒也能潜进世界的心脏。

啊……这片子有点无聊……em，要不是因为最后的采访独白，真的感觉毫无可取之处……小男孩初看贼帅，声音也好听，但是听多了真的有点腻了……长腿大🐻尖脸真的只能玩玩，结婚真是不合适。这样，就会后悔。哈哈哈
《呼朋引伴》一直弥漫着温柔而又沉郁的气质，仿佛有堵无形的“第四面墙”，逼迫观众在树起的镜像中展开自我对话。电影文本挖掘出的问题引人深思，只是一番冥想之后得出的还是不够完美甚至无奈又无解的答案。
