The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 看的百老汇官摄版本，歌曲好听，剧情节奏紧凑，只是故事内容单纯不是很对胃口，始终无法打动我。
艺术来源于生活，真实的生活真实的故事最为动人。
于漫漫黑夜中，绝望无尽处，看到光，那是人性中的“善”，总有希望，总有温暖。
一群高矮胖瘦、黑、白、有色，看上去就是日常中极其普通的中老年人，在舞台上又唱又跳整出一台戏，突然想起在自家小区楼下，看跳广场舞的大爷大妈们。感觉哪里怪怪的……
它没有明讲"9.11"——但所有观众都很容易猜出这个背景。然后从一个不被大众熟知的视角——38架飞机迫降的小镇去讲这件无人不知的历史大事。
完成度很高，紧凑，热闹，张弛有度，音乐好听，人物立体表演到位，调度清晰明了，动人而有大能量…我国的主旋律可以参考这样的叙事。记住了这些人，和Gander这个地方。

可能这是我注定无法欣赏的一部音乐剧了，群像太多太杂随意转换，一直处在一种情绪很饱满激动的状态中。第二次坚持看到1/2又失败了… 唉，可能是我不懂欣赏吧。
非常美式正确的剧，Me and Sky里面 'Be Patient. Just see what happens.'
